The built-in shaft lock and single wrench system make bit changes quick and easy. Turn on the switch, rotate the speed dial to match your speed to the material and bit you're using and say goodbye to burning.
Use the button on the winder knob to select rack-and-pinon or free plunge mode. Left undepressed cut dept is controlled by pullilng the clutch ring on the back of the winder knob and rotating the knob in either direction...moving the router up or down. The 21/4 hp Triton is designed to accommodate and accessory winder handle that's inserted through a hole in your router table's surace.*2-1/4HP models are shipped with one of these handles.
